Recommended Reading for Beginners: Drugstore Overview

Has the rising cost of gas and groceries recently inspired you to be more Frugal? A great place to start is at your local drugstore. I have saved thousands by shopping at CVS and Walgreens.

In general, American consumers assume that drugstores are more expensive than big-box discount retailers. If you are only looking at their shelf prices, this is true. I challenge you to look a little further.

One my favorite blogs, Be Thrifty Like Us, wrote up a great little overview about how to get freebies at CVS, Walgreens, and Rite-Aid.

Check back here every week to see my savings success stories! As always, any questions are welcome.

*Fun Fact of the Day: CVS stands for Customer Value Store. Who knew?
