Confirmed HIDDEN DEAL at CVS! Week of 5/4

May 4, 2008 · 10 comments

Are you ready for this? CVS is giving us $2 ECB (unadvertised) when you buy…..drum roll please!

A CVS Toothbrush! For $2.99.

*Yawn*

(Sorry about the fuzzy picture, I had to use my camera phone)

Okay, I know it’s not that exciting, since we can all enjoy our free Colgate 360 Toothbrushes this month. But hey, it is a potential money maker!

I have not confirmed the limit, but it is reportedly 5! Some areas are reporting earnings of $2.99 ECB, making it FREE! Here in Texas, I received $2 ECB, still a good deal.

Deal Scenario:
Buy 3 CVS Toothbrushes @ $2.99
Buy 2 CVS Non-Drowsy Allergy Relief @ $3.79 (May deal)
Use $3/15 Coupon (click here)
Use $3/10 CVS brand CRT (hopefully you have one)
Pay $10.55 OOP
Receive: $13.58 ECB or more!

Here is the scoop from Slick Deals:

More good news:

The Colgate 360 Toothbrushes are actually a limit of 5, not 3 as advertised. I confirmed this tonight as well on my receipt. So… you can potentially earn up to 10 free toothbrushes this week!

What to do with all those toothbrushes? Well, dentists do suggest you change out your toothbrush every 3 months.

What will you do with your toothbrush over-supply?

They can always be donated to charities or organizations that help people or you can keep them until christmas and send them in you Shoe box with Operation Blessing i think its called. Its an organization ran by Frankling Graham.

Great idea, Bevin. I do the same thing. It’s called “Operation Christmas Child”, a Samaritan’s Purse organization.

Other ideas:

care packages for the troops

college care packages

stocking stuffers

Women’s Shelters

Now that is a question for my California readers.

Hey Mom, have you tried this one?

The shelf tag in my CVS here in California said “Buy two, get one free,” so I didn’t try it…

If the toothbrush limit is 5, how do you get 10? I’m getting stuck on this aspect of the CVS thing.

The $2.99 CVS toothbrush offer IS NOT working on my area. I’m in the Johnson City, TN area. The ECBs did not print out when I purchased one so I left the others.
