Tips for Saving Money on Travel Expenses

October 16, 2008 · 3 comments

I actually had a little free time during my trip to Bentonville to shoot a quick video!  Since I have been traveling so much lately, I figured I should share one of the ways I save on expenses.

Of course, all of my loyal readers already use free samples to stretch their budgets, right?
This video is straight from my hotel room in Bentonville. You can also view it on Walmart’s YouTube page.
Oh, and if you need a good laugh, check out this video that my fellow Walmart Elevenmom, Colleen shot during our little slumber party.

You forgot another great travel sample…laundry detergent! I request the free samples of laundry detergent to bring along on trips. They’re pre-measured for one load.

Those are great ideas (it was hard to hear though!)

My hubby went camping this past weekend and I sent him with a ziploc bag full of all the men’s samples that I’ve recieved in the mail. He was so thankful and so was I to have received them. It was nice not to have to run to the store to get travel size toiletries. Your video was great!
