I promised this giveaway, and it’s finally here! I recently purchased Fireproof on DVD to enjoy with my husband and then pass on to a deserving reader.
We watched it together over the weekend and I thoroughly enjoyed it! Perhaps it’s just my raging pregnancy hormones, but I bawled like a baby at the end.
The movie was a great reminder about important principles in marriage. We happen to be going through a “Marriage On The Rock” workshop right now through our church, so it was a perfect tie in.
My husband and I have been married just over 4 years, and still have a lot to learn about Godly marriage. I believe even the strongest marriages always have room for improvement, would you agree?

I have seen this movie but I would like to give a copy to my sister who is getting married soon in the Philippines. I don’t think this has hit the theatres there or if it ever will be so this will be a huge blessing to them as well as to other people they’re share the dvd with. Thanks!

I have been waiting and waiting to see this movie. It just hasn’t been in our budget to go to the movies to see it or to buy it. I would love to have a “date night” with my husband and actually sit down and watch an entire movie together that doesn’t involve cartoon characters! LOL

I have yet to see this movie. Can you believe that the RedBox is out of it every week? I really loved “Facing the Giants” and I was a teen fan of Kirk Cameron back in the day, but I must say, I am more proud of him now than I was then. I have heard nothing but good about the movie, and have really considered just buying it, but then I saw your post!

My husband and I have recently talked about renting/buying this movie. Our marriage it going through a deep valley right now. In October we lost our dear Sweet Pea 21 weeks into the pregnancy. While we praise God for our wonderful 4 1/2 year old, we are truly struggling to deal with this huge loss. Add into that the fact that we are dealing with the grief in very different ways. How funny… my aunt just sent me an e-mail telling me that I should totally watch this with my husband! He has been out of work for some time now, so things are very stressful, but, we do however, have the time to watch a movie right now! My dad, who is a pastor, NEVER goes to movies. But he and my mom actually went to see this in the theater one afternoon per the recommendation of a trusted friend. They both loved it, and that says a lot since they don’t watch movies hardly at all! So, I can’t wait to see it!

Oh, please please please pick me!!! I watched Fireproof this weekend with my parents, and was so enthralled, I immediately went online to order the book – just in case a friend (or, please no!, myself or Hubs) is contemplating divorce, then I would have it on hand. I decided then and there that I HAVE to watch the movie again with Hubs. . . . and with anyone else who is feeling a little out of sorts with what Hollywood and romance novels portray of the “perfect marriage”. – Preggo
