This week’s giveaway is in honor of my upcoming baby shower. I can hardly believe it is right around the corner! I received a beautiful diaper cake from Diaper Cakewalk. The best gifts, in my opinion, are both unique and practical.
What could be more practical than diapers for a new baby? Pampers Swaddlers, no less.
I plan to display my lovely 3-tier cake at my shower. It includes an adorable Teddy Bear with a rattle, a pacifier, and 45 diapers in sizes 1 & 2. The whole thing came wrapped in tule with beautiful hand-tied bow accents.
Flowers are lovely, but for about the same price, a diaper cake makes a fabulous hospital or shower gift for a new mom. Diaper Cakewalk has a variety of unique baby gifts available to order. They are handmade right here in America.
I appreciate the eco-friendly diaper cake options as well! There is also a whole resource section with ideas for planning a great baby shower.
Diaper Cakewalk wants to send a diaper cake to one of my readers! Even if you are not expecting, perhaps you know someone who is.
For a chance to win a unique diaper cake:
1. Leave a comment below with your favorite type of diaper (initial entry).
For Bonus Entries:
2. If you are a subscriber or follower (thank you!), leave a separate comment. You may subscribe for free updates via RSS or email and leave a comment telling me you have done so.
3. For a third entry, add Keeping the Kingdom First to your blogroll or add my badge to your sidebar. Leave a separate comment with a link to your site.
This contest will close on Friday, March 20th, at 10pm CST. The winner will be selected by random.org and contacted via email.
Good luck, and thank you for entering!

We use cloth diapers but love Huggies as a backup when I’m behind with my laundry.

We are Huggies fans – the ones with the hourglass shape, I think it’s Supreme Natural Fit. But I will be giving this diaper cake to my cousin and she says Pampers are just fine, she’s not picky about cute and free stuff
Thanks to you and to Diaper Cakewalk, they make beautiful gifts!

ooh–I love that diaper cake! I’m hosting a baby shower in a few weeks and this would be so perfect! I don’t have children myself, but I have heard that the swaddlers are great.

We mainly use cloth diapers, and Bum Genius are our favorite.
For a newborn, though, we LOVE Pampers Swaddlers…they’re so soft, and they do the job well! Since we’ll have another newborn in a few months, we’re in the process of stocking up on teeny-tiny diapers in our house!

What a great giveaway! Our youth pastor and his wife are expecting a child – their 4th in 3 years (they have a 3-year-old and twin 18-month-olds), so it would be a blessing to give this to them! Thanks for being able to offer it!

I just recently switched to cloth diapers, but still plan on diapering our newborn with swaddlers until she is about a month old (we are expecting a very small baby).

Hello, thanks for another great contest! I’m a huggies girl, unless they are on sale with a mq somewhere else but Costco makes it pretty easy to stay stocked up.

Wow…what a cool giveaway! I’m pregnant with our third…a little boy!
My favorite brand of diapers is whatever is cheapest! I’ve recently bought Walgreens since they had such an awesome sale going on. For baby diapers I prefer Huggies or Pampers.

Hi, what a great contest. I would love to win for my best friend who’s due with her first in June.

I also subscribe to your blog. I forgot to mention, I don’t have a favorite diaper since I haven’t had any kids yet. But I love reading all the mom’s opinions. Nothing wrong with preparing for the future

My favorite type of diapers is Pampers Swaddlers. I think they fit the best for my son and hopefully for my new baby as well!

To be honest we are mainly a cloth diaper family. That being said I love to start out with throw away dips for those first diaper changes and usually have some on hand for times when I’m too tired to think about washing diapers. I usually buy whatever is the best value.
[Reply]
Huggies! thanks!
[Reply]
I like huggies from Costco.

My favorite diaper is pampers swadlers/cruisers/pull-ups. I’ve had to go through all the stages and am finally done potty training. I tried every diaper/training pant under the sun and none compared!

I’d love to display a diaper cake at my shower!! With my boys, I was a fan of Pampers! But it’s been 8 years since then. So we will be in search of a new diaper to love with our daughter!

I love Pampers, they smell so good!
And I just found out we are expecting our third baby. That means I will have a 3 year old, a 14 month old and a newborn in October. All I can say is, my oldest had better be potty trained by then!!!! LOL!

I love Pampers Swaddlers. Now that my daughter is in Babydry or Cruisers, I miss them a lot. They are so much softer!

NB I like Pampers and bigger I like Huggies – I need the little bum elastic that keeps the poop in!
[Reply]
Pamper swaddlers are my favorite…but since we do our best to save as much money as we can we us cloth diapers most of the time…still use disposables for when we are out and about and at night.

I love Pampers. If I can’t get them for a good price I’ll go with generic, but I LOVE PAMPERS.
