Apple Camp: Free Summer Workshops for Kids

May 21, 2009 · 1 comment

Free events for kids are a great way to stretch your entertainment budget. Especially over the summer!

Here is a great offer from Apple that I know my kids will enjoy. Apple Retail stores are offering FREE workshops for children ages 8-12! Space is limited, so hurry and register online.

All supplies are provided, although you are welcome to bring your own Apple equipment. This sounds like such fun, I wish I could attend! I am a PC gal myself, so Macs are all new to me.

“This summer, your kid could make a movie, create a photo slideshow, write and record a song, put on a show for everyone, and have a blast doing it all. At Apple Camp, kids learn how to do cool stuff on a Mac and discover their hidden talents along the way. Apple Camp occurs at every Apple Retail Store, and each free workshop lasts three hours. Sign up your kid today and get ready for an adventure.”

I am having trouble getting the site to load properly, so it may be overwhelmed right now. Hope you have better luck than I did! If all else fails, call your nearest Apple store directly.
