We were blessed over the weekend with a visit from my step-son, who lives in California. He met his baby brother for the first time. As the older brother of 3 sisters, this was a very big deal.
Leah looks on adoringly as he enjoys the moment.
Blended families have their challenges, but I am so thankful for his frequent visits. Since the age of 7, he has endured the 3 hour flight countless times all by himself. He is such a trooper! And those frequent flier miles sure do come in handy!
He will be back over the summer, but not soon enough.

What a great picture – he looks so proud!
Not-so-little Colin looks great, too! And Leah must follow her big brother around non-stop; she’s got that hero-worship look on her face.
Take care, friend!

It brought tears to my eyes, so sweet. I have two sons from my ex and two from my hubby now and I remember the trips back and forth between us, luckily my ex and I got along great.
