I was already a big fan of the hit PBS show Super WHY!, and then I had the opportunity to interview the creative genius behind it on Keeping It Centsible. Now I am a fan for life.
I am pretty picky about what my children watch on television, so I really appreciate the wholesome and interactive episodes for preschoolers. The “Super Readers” are not only adorable, they solve problems while practicing key reading skills.
Episodes of Super WHY! are actually available for viewing right on their website. Free downloads are also on iTunes as podcasts. This is a nice option for those who may not have cable.
If your little ones love Super WHY!, mark your calendars for a free nationwide event at ToysRUs stores June 13th from 12-2pm. Kids will receive a free mask and coloring fun, while supplies last.

Looking to keep your kiddos reading all summer? Super WHY! is also partnering with over 4,000 libraries across the country for the Right On Read-A-Thon. Visit your local library for details, or enjoy free downloadables including a reading list and progress chart here.
Super Readers, to the rescue for summer boredom blues!
