The Herd
Cow Appreciation Day was a blast! We met up with bloggy pal April, her mom, and 2 sweet boys for some free lunch and lots of laughs.
The smallest “calves” of the herd, my Colin and April’s Ian, were the stars of the show.
Believe it or not, this was a wildly popular freebie! There were cows of all ages, colors, shapes and sizes today at Chick-fil-A. A few customers drifted in obviously unaware of the event, and the confused looks on their faces were pretty entertaining.
The staff at Chick-fil-A was wonderful. Leah was even hugging the manager at one point, but she was very wary of that giant cow. It was a freebie worth working for in my book!
*Note: You may notice my daughter, Sara, is not pictured. This was not for lack of spirit, she is actually away visiting her Dad for 2 weeks. *sniff* Thankfully my 10 year old step-son, Mikel, was more than willing to participate!

I agree, this FREEBIE was worth the effort. We had a great evening of family fun and I didn’t have to wash any dishes. We heard this is an annual event, so my son Connor is already planning his cow costume for next year!
