Giveaway: Crayola Creativity Pack #2 (Now Closed)

August 18, 2009 · 140 comments

Were you able to enjoy  ”Girls Night Out” on Twitter last week? Well, it’s back tonight, along with another Crayola giveaway thanks to My Blog Spark.

Congrats to last week’s winner, commenter #120, Smiling Mama!

Crayola has teamed up with MomItForward.com, the creator of “Girls Night Out” (GNO), to bring you the “Crayola Creativitycast.” The weekly series of GNO discussions will feature a new topic each week like “Affordable Fun 101″ and “Back to School Shopping tips.”

For more details about tonight’s #GNO chat and how to participate, go here.

Not on Twitter? That’s ok, all of my readers have a chance to win a Crayola Creativity Pack like the one pictured above.

The Crayola Creativity Pack includes:

  • 24-ct. Crayola Crayons, the quintessential back-to-school tool that kids love for their vibrant colors.
  • 10-ct. Crayola Markers, with an array of consistent, true colors to complete any task
  • 12-ct. Crayola Colored Pencils, which come pre-sharpened with thick, strong lead made to tackle touch projects and art activities
  • Crayola Pip-Squeaks Colored Pencils and Glitter Glue, which give children big color in a small size and are perfect for jazzing up art projects.
  • Crayola Window Crayons, to help let your little ones transform glass surfaces into instant decorations with bright colors that wipe clean with a damp cloth.
  • Tadoodles Washable Crayon Buddies, which are colorful little characters that hold a triangular-shaped crayon that twists up when the tip wears down – perfect for little hands!
  • Crayola Color Explosion Black Extreme Surprises, which comes complete with a stencil sheet and two Broad Tip Color Explosion clear ink markers.
  • Crayola Color Switchers, which are dual-ended markers that allow kids to magically change the colors of their drawings with a swoosh of the “color switch” tip.

You’ll be excited to find that Crayola is helping to stretch those back-to-school dollars even further this year with a lineup of school tools that are priced under $9 (with many of the school list must-haves priced under $1.00 at retailers nationwide). There are even printable Crayola coupons available here.

But more importantly, what makes your investment go even further is the investment you’re making in your child’s development. Giving your kids the tools to power their imaginations doesn’t have to be expensive!

For a chance to win the Crayola Creativity Pack:

1. Leave a comment below telling me your favorite Crayola product or color (initial entry). If you are reading via email or in a reader, please click through to the post to enter.

For Bonus Entries (leave a separate comment for each):

2. If you are a subscriber or follower (thank you!), leave a separate comment. You may subscribe for free updates via RSS or email and leave a comment telling me you have done so.

3. For a third entry, add Keeping the Kingdom First to your blogroll or add my badge to your sidebar. Leave a separate comment with a link to your site.

This contest will close on Friday, August 21st, at 11pm CST. The winner will be selected by random.org and contacted via email. Contest open to US residents only.

well I love crayons and the smell takes me back to my childhood and the happy days of feeling safe within my family home :) I still bring out crayons and coloring books with my children hoping to give them the same sense of security that I felt growing up with crayola

My favorite Caryola product is the washable crayons. When your 3 yr old decideds to color her 21 yr old cousins laptop brown, it just wipes off with a little eyeglass cleaner sprayed on a soft cloth! Thankfully the laptop was closed at the time. Lessons learned by all were 1)keep only washable crayons at grandparents house, 2)keep hands off big cousins computer, and 3)keep expensive belongings out of preschoolers reach.

There are so many wonderful Crayola products. How could somebody pick just one? I would have to choose the crayon pack with lots and lots of crayons. I love all the different colors, and yes, even at 32 I still love coloring.

I love the Crayola glitter glue. There are many knock-offs, but Crayola has the best color and most sparkle, and comes out of the tube easily.

30 Danielle August 20, 2009 at 10:20 pm

My favorite Crayola product is their colored pencils. A simple item, but such fun.

My favorite product would have to be just plain ol’ crayons. I LOVE to color! It is such a stress reliever and I could still get lost in a good color book for hours. You would think this would be a good thing for a mother but not always. It is not good to hear “MoM! Your coloring all my pages! Give us back out books!!” Just a minute honey! Mama is almost done! HeHeHe
