On to Day 4 of my back-to-school giveaway bash!

Have you enjoyed any vacations this summer? Perhaps your fun and frugal family vacation included the [beloved/boring/bonding/insert appropriate adjective here] road trip.

While many things can happen on a family road trip, we know that “healthy eating” usually isn’t one of them…

Subway has come to the rescue with a car kit sure to make everyone happy. The kids can entertain themselves with games and activities while you pack up a healthy selection of snacks in the adorable insulated tote.

With the new Subway restaurant locator you can spot various Subway locations along your route to make sure you don’t end up with greasy burgers or gas station candy as your meal/snack of choice.

In the spirit of road trips and exploring, Subway has teamed up with National Geographic. Through October, kids ages 6-14 can awaken their “Taste for Adventure” this summer with a very “cool” contest – in 100 words or less, share their most exciting journey (past, present or even a future dream adventure) for a chance to win an unforgettable Alaskan Family Adventure! (perhaps a fun activity to keep everyone busy in the car)

One (1) lucky traveler will win a Subway Car Kit like the one pictured above. It includes:

*an insulated lunch tote for healthy snacks
*Apples to Apples To Go Game
*Uno Card Game
*Activity Sticker Book
*$10 Subway Gift Card.
(NOTE: colors, games, accessories may vary but kit is valued at approximately $35-40)
