Pinecone Research: Now Open

October 20, 2009 · 11 comments

One of the few survey sites I recommend, Pinecone Research is once again currently accepting new applications.

Already closed, sorry!

Members earn $3.00 per completed survey, plus entry into Sweepstakes for cash prizes.  Pinecone Research is known to pay its members promptly via Pay Pal, so it’s a great way to earn a little extra money while enjoying new products.

Sign up is completely free, and they accept one applicant per household. Not everyone is accepted into this exclusive network, but it does not hurt to apply!

These spots typically fill up fast, so if you are thinking about applying, don’t delay!

Other survey sites I recommend:

My Points

CashCrate

Nielsen’s Homescan Consumer Panel

Hey Gal! It this Pinecone Reasearch on the up & up? I’m always curious when I hear about cash for serveys, cause at one time I tried to that as a stay-at-home business, and I think the only thing I got out of it was a bottle of hand lotion and LOTs of e-mails. Have you tried it?

Just curious,

PJ

Hi ladies; I have been a member of Pinecone Research for a few years now. It used to be you had to search for the pinecone all over the web, find it and apply. Very exclusive. VERY much on the up and up. I would say you get a couple of surveys a month maybe. They can be time consuming but you get that paypal $3 almost immediately. NEVER had a problem of any kind with them. Karen is great to work with if for some reason you lock up or can’t see a pictoral you are commenting on too. Go for it!

The link is dead for me too. :( It returns a page not found message and there’s nothing on the home page inviting memberships.

Sorry about that, Melissa, the offer capped out at around 9am this morning.

I love Pinecone. I have been doing it for a little over a year. The survey’s can sometimes be long but they pay right away and I have also gotten to try out some great products and offer feedback to the manufacturers. Keep looking for openings if you are looking for a great survey site.

I actually do *not* recommend either Cashcrate or inbox dollars…. it’s interesting to me that the only survey sites you recommend are sponsored links? Is that a coincidence?

I joined both on your recommendation about a month ago and was terribly disappointed in them — they’re both HORRIBLE about spamming their participants, and joining either will opt you in a wide variety of questionable advertisements. NEITHER have sufficient privacy policies, and are some of the least professional survey companies you will find on the web. There are lots of great survey sites… but I opted out of both of these pretty quick when I realized how dubious and exploitative they were. I hope you’ll reconsider your recommendations in the future because I definitely was 100% trusting you when I signed up… I’m still getting “paid email” spam from inbox dollar’s advertisement partners even though I’ve unsubscribed from inbox dollar itself.
