I don’t know about y’all, but I could really use a good laugh this week. With company coming, meals to prepare, and the unavoidable last-minute shopping trips, the pressure is on.
The Happy Housewife is sharing REAL Family Christmas photos this week and encouraging others to do the same. So while these photos may not have made it onto my “perfect” Christmas card this year, here they are on the blog for thousands to see. Kind of ironic, but hey, it’s fun!

I also wanted to tell you but keep forgetting that I did your giving challenge last month and though I spend my whole life giving, it feels like, some days it was tough to think of something and a few days I forgot to do it. But for the first time in 3 years of entering giveaways, I won a Safeway giftcard for $50; something our family can really use! And then someone out of the blue who I hardly know sent us a $100 gift card for Walmart. I was able to use the Walmart one to buy Christmas gifts for about 9 people who are lower-income or single-no husband or family in the area spending the holidays alone. Just wanted to pass that on to you because it is so much fun to give and to see God give to us in return!
