Holiday Gift Card (1)

*Updated with winners: Congratulations to commenters #71- Leah, and #225- Mamabear!

After my Angel Tree shopping excursion, Sears is also providing $50 Gift Cards for 2  lucky readers! I love opportunities to bless my readers with a great prize- especially one that can help with some holiday shopping.

A Sears Gift Card is actually valid at Sears, Kmart and Lands End- both in stores and online. Who knew?

If you do shop online, you can go through Ebates to earn cash back at all 3 stores.

For a chance to win 1 of 2 $50 Gift Cards:

1. Leave a comment below telling me how you would spend $50 from Sears (initial entry).  If you are reading via email or in a reader, please click through to the post to enter.

For Bonus Entries (leave a separate comment for each):

2. If you are a subscriber or follower (thank you!), leave a comment. You may subscribe for free updates via RSS or email and leave a comment telling me you have done so.

3. For a third entry, share this giveaway on Facebook or Twitter

This contest will close on Tuesday, December 15th at 11pm CST. The winners will be selected by random.org and contacted via email. Contest open to US residents only.

Good luck, and thank you for entering!

Full disclosure: This giveaway is sponsored by the kind folks at Sears. The thoughts and words are all mine.

Getting a $50 gift card seems like the perfect way to find a present for my brother for Christmas by wandering around Sears until something catches my eye. =)

82 hope777believe December 10, 2009 at 3:49 am

I would use the gift card to buy my husband some type of Land’s End clothes. He has not bought himself ANY clothes in the past 6 years or more. Shortly, after our daughter was born 6 yrs. ago the business my husband worked for closed down. After struggling for 2-3 years and after hours, days & months of prayer, my husband felt called into the ministry. He started a faith-based non-profit 2 years ago that is still ramping up. So, as we’ve continued to be tight financially, we’ve both cut-out all of our extras, indulgences and even basics like new clothes. However, God has blessed us in so many other ways. Now, I’d like to bless my husband with some new clothes for all of his hard work and commitment to God’s kingdom. Thanks.

I honestly have no idea what we would buy. Our church is sponsoring 2 families in the area, so I’d probably use it to be able to contribute more towards that cause. I might buy a sleeper or two for the baby on the way also. Of course, I’d take coupons, shop sales and stretch it as far as possible!

Wow…a $50 Sears gift card! Each year during the holiday season, I organize something called Holiday Helpers. Enlisting the help of family & friends, I gather pantry items, toiletries & toys for needy families in our local community. This year the need requests are far greater than the resources. This gift card would help fill the gap for items we need to purchase such as socks, mittens, toboggans…maybe even a couple of toys. The feeling of giving is so satisfying. God bless everyone this holiday season!

I would try to find a sale and would most likely spend this at Kmart instead of sears, for my 4 yr old who is growing so fast he already out grew his *new* winter jeans and I’m giving them to my nephew.

If I had to spend it at sears I would say it would most likey go to tools for my hubby. You know Boys and their toys :-)

Thanks this is a great giveaway.

I’d be not only spending this, but stretching it, if you know what I mean. I’d finish up some last minute Christmas shopping, & then buy some items for our adopt-a-family we do at work every year! Thanks!

I would use the gift card to buy a new backpack, and some clothes for when I start college this January. I am 27, and just now starting college. I’m so excited!
