A Christmas dinner does not have to be elaborate to be meaningful. With the right decor, some candlelight and your loved ones, even the most frugal meal is appreciated.
This year, Walmart is making it a little easier to achieve that frugal holiday dinner. Ingredients for a Christmas feast for eight for under $30 include:
· One 10-pound select hickory smoked, spiral cut half ham
· Three 8-ounce cans Del Monte green beans
· One 10-pound bag of Russet potatoes
· One 12-count package of Sara Lee dinner rolls
· One 10-inch pumpkin pie
Check out Walmart’s new Holiday Meal page featuring tips from Food Network stars Aaron Sanchez and Melissa D’Arabian for recipes on a budget.

The holidays are a great time to spend quality time with your loved ones. Every year, our family had a tradition of all of us pitching in and helping out with Thanksgiving, and Christmas dinner. My favorite dish is my dad Raisin covered ham. Sounds funny, but its gives the ham such a sweet flavor, and its easy to make, just add raisins! Happy Holidays Everyone!

I really hope i win, because i want to use that gift card to help my dad with Christmas dinner this year, because he recently lost his job, and times are really rough for us right now. It would be a great blessing if i won, because that would really help our family out a lot. Thanks for the opportunity, and ill keep my fingers crossed.

I loved my grandmothers Mac and Cheese. She made it with colby and evaporated milk. I can’t remember what else was in it and she has since passed away, so I can’t ask her.

My favorite part of holiday meals (which for some reason I only seem to make around the holidays) is the deviled eggs! Oh, and the Christmas cookies of course!
