Wordless Wednesday: Snow!

December 30, 2009 · 20 comments

Contrary to popular belief, it is not always hot in Texas…

This Radio Flyer Wagon was under our tree this year and has already gotten more use than all the kids’ presents combined. Totally. worth it.

Dallas saw its first White Christmas in 80 years last week! A rare treat, indeed.

Then today, it snowed again.

snowman

It may be small, but Leah is so proud of her very first snowman!

And that… is the ultimate in frugal family fun.

That’s adorable. I’m so glad they were able to experience the snow, even if it was a once in a lifetime event.

Grace got that wagon for her first birthday, and it has taken us everywhere from the county fair to the beach, and we also use it in the snow. It’s a great investment. Enjoy! :)

It always seems so odd to me when I hear about snow in Texas. Love your snowman!

Oh WOW! A rare treat for Dallas! How nice your little ones got to experience the snow-an exciting experience for those who do not live in it regularly! I’m sure the pictures will be a nice reminder year after year that the snow does not come your way…”Remember the snowman that you got to build when we had snow in 2009?” :)

So adorable! My WW today is about our snow, too. But we don’t have any snowmen pics. =( Since we missed the “big snow” on Christmas, my kids were thrilled to play in the “little” snow yesterday – not enough for snow man building. =(

When I heard it was cold there I was amazed, but snow? Seems a bit surreal, doesn’t it? Stay warm!
