The White Cloud Rate the Rolls Challenge continues!
Last week, another mysterious package arrived on my doorstep from White Cloud. I was expecting toilet paper bath tissue, but I must admit it was a little amusing to open up a box with great anticipation to find this:
Once again, 2 rolls, marked simply A and B. The task at hand was to determine which roll was the GreenEarth tissue, made from 100% recycled fiber. My children likely thought I was loony as I carefully inspected them, testing the softness, scent and feel of each roll. First impressions:
- Roll A is slightly bigger and brighter than roll B
- The pattern on each roll is identical
- There is no noticeable difference in the softness factor
Of course, the real test was actually *ahem* using each roll. Again, no noticeable difference. I switched out the rolls after a couple of days to see if my husband even noticed. He didn’t.
Final thoughts? I have no idea which roll is the White Cloud GreenEarth tissue. Either product would be welcome in my home, as long as the price is right.

Well, we always use Angel Soft but we have never tried White Cloud. I have been getting Marcal Small Steps lately because of the free coupons, and nobody has complained, then I got a GREAT deal on Strong Charmin Big rolls, so we are using that in one of our bathrooms and I absolutely love it, my husband has always determined what kind we use, so I am excited to do this switch!!!

I just left WM and tried to use the 2 coupons on the 2 products and the cashier told me I couldn’t use both on this deal. I was so disappointed! I didn’t buy either. Maybe I should try again with another cashier.
