I found a store coupon on the CVS website yesterday. It reads "Buy and 3 (Listerine or Reach Products), get $3.00 off.
This is my scenario:
Buy (1) Listerine $3.99
Buy (2) Reach Dental Floss $3.99
Use (1) $1/1 Listerine
Use (1) BOGO Reach Dental Floss
Use $3.00 CVS coupon
Pay $3.98 OOP
Get $4.00 ECB
Final=FREE after ECB

Hmmm. This may one of those odd situations where we couponers say "YMMV" or Your Mileage May Vary. It might work at a different CVS, but it might not. :(

I'm fairly new to CVS, but I looove it! It is sooo fun! Here's my $5 scenario from last night:
3 Transacations, Total OOP: $5.26

Transaction #1
5 Nabisco crackers 5/$10
-used (5) $1.00 coupons
-received $3 ECB
2 pkgs goldfish crackers (these were priced $0.99 at my store)
-used (2) $0.75 coupons
Total $5.48
-used $5.49 ECB (from last week's Dove Men's bodywash deal)
*OOP: $0.00*

Transaction #2
1 Gillette Fusion Razor $8.99 (found a pkg that came w/a bonus shaving cream!)
-used $4.00 off coupon
-received $4 ECB
Total $5.78
-used $3 ECB from Trans #1
*OOP: $2.78*

Transaction #3
1 Dove Men's body wash - free (My store ran out last week, so I was only able to buy 1. They gave me a raincheck, but just gave it to me for free - no ECB)
2 pkgs binder paper $1.79 each
1 gallon milk $2.59
Total: $6.78
-used $4 ECB from Trans #2
OOP: $2.78
**TOTAL OOP for all 3 transactions: $5.26**
P.S. I took my hubby with me and he was impressed!

Thanks for those links. I have seen (and even taken to the store) that coupon policy. My store says that when the store is the one offering the BOGO then you can use either a BOGO coupon (making them both free) or you can use a $ off 2 or two $ off 1 coupons. However, when the customer creates a BOGO with a BOGO coupon, that coupon is requiring you to buy the first one in order to get the second one free. So, using another $ off coupon would be using two coupons on the same item? That is why they tell me it beeps and that I can't do this. Maybe I need to find a different CVS store?

Amy, that is a great question! Official CVS corporate coupon policy states that they will accept 2 coupons on a BOGO offer. Sounds like your store is unaware of the policy. I have never had an issue with this type of stacking. You might try talking to the manager or talking to the regional corporate manager for further clarification. Here are some links that may help:

For your Reach Floss scenario, does your store let you stack a BOGO coupon with a $ off one coupon when you buy two items? Mine does not. Thanks.
