One of our favorite Easter Activities is to make chocolates together. We make rocky road by mixing jelly candies, marshmallows and melted dark chocolate. When it sets we cut it into squares and package it in cello bags tied with a ribbon. We then have a lovely homemade treat to give to family and friends at Easter. We also love making our own Easter board games. We made an Easter Tic Tac Toe with bunnies and eggs instead of O's and X's. Kids Easter Activities

A lady at our church wrote a Family Lenten Devotional guide that is like the Jesse Tree for Christmas. We begin at the start of Lent Season. Each day we read from her devotional, read a passage of Scripture, sing a hymn, read a prayer and put an ornament on a vine wreath (or wooden cross). It begins with the birth of Christ and ends at his resurrection for 40 days. 40 ladies in our church each chose 1 ornament to make 40 of and we gathered together and swapped so we all had the entire set.

I've found so many wonderful ideas here. Thanks.

I'm in charge of the annual Easter Egg Hunts for both sides of the family. Last year I found lots of Halloween candy for pennies on clearance at Target. I stuffed those plastic eggs with tiny bags of M&Ms, Skittles, Starburst and the like. The first Egg Hunt was last weekend. The kids loved getting "regular" candy, and it was much neater than having jelly beans or foil-wrapped eggs spill all over the place.
