Ahh, Labor Day. The unofficial end of summer. Let’s celebrate with a quick giveaway, shall we?
Nothing says summer like backyard grilling, and as the season winds to a close, more families are heading outside to fire up the grill. Umm, except mine. {gasp} We don’t own one! I’m pretty sure this is grounds for getting me kicked out of Texas, so don’t tell anyone, m’kay?
Thankfully, a grill is not required to enjoy Lawry’s newest marinades. I received the Lawry’s “Get Grilling Kit” above, and put my trusty crockpot to work!
The exotic flavors of the Tuscan Sun-Dried Tomato Marinade and Szechuan Sweet & Sour BBQ Marinade are delicious paired with chicken breast, but could also work well with pork, beef, or even tofu. Add a side of rice and some steamed veggies for a perfect summer meal! Even my picky husband kids enjoyed it.
Thanks to My Blog Spark and Lawry’s I have a “Get Grilling Kit” to giveaway to one KingdomFirstMom.com reader. It includes both of the new Lawry´s marinades – Tuscan Sun-Dried Tomato and Szechuan Sweet & Sour BBQ – a set of metal skewers and a nice big Pyrex marinating dish.

Hubby is a grillin machine and he makes the very best pulled pork I have ever eaten. He uses apple wood and gets up at 7 am to go out and stoke up the grill and cooks the pork all day until its falling apart…that is my favorite…Yummmmm

Love grillin kabobs that are marinated to enhance the original flavors of the vegtables, chicken, lamb, beef, pork or shrimp! My family loves these – preparing them together with my grandchildren and making “to order” kabobs with what each ones enjoys, makes it a special and unique family activity!
Thanks Alyssa!
